The Summer 2026 Ultimate Skyrim Marathon Championship is a competitive 12-hour LAN event built around The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Ten competitors sit down together in one room, start new characters simultaneously, and spend twelve hours accumulating the most points possible.
Points are earned through measurable in-game accomplishments pulled directly from Skyrim's built-in statistics system, quests completed, dragons slain, dungeons cleared, skills mastered, shouts unleashed, property purchased, and dozens more tracked metrics.
The event is governed by the Gamer Shed LAN Committee (GSLC), a council responsible for rules, scoring balance, officiation, and the long-term growth of competitive LAN gaming. At the close of the 12th hour, every competitor's stats are read aloud and entered into the official scoring spreadsheet in front of all players. One name walks away as Champion.
Each competitor receives an official handbook and score sheet. An Officiator manages the timeline, enforces the rules, and ensures competitive integrity throughout the day.
Scoring in the USMC is based entirely on measurable statistics tracked automatically by Skyrim's in-game Stats page. No manual tracking is required during gameplay. At the end of the event, each competitor displays their Stats page and every value is entered into the official scoring spreadsheet in front of all players.
There are six distinct scoring categories, each with different mechanics. Understanding how they interact is the key to building a high-scoring strategy.
The following are highlights from the official Competitor Handbook. This is not a complete list. All competitors are expected to read the full Competitor Handbook in its entirety before the event.
We're still working on this section of the website lol. But feel free to stare at Alduin's wall.
